Indications:
Provides a more effective treatment in cases of:
- Dry eyes
- Alterations in the continuity of the corneal and conjunctival surfaces after refractive surgery
- Photorefractive keratectomy
- Trauma from a foreign body and surgery
- Alterations in the ocular surface related to metabolic disorders (diabetes), environmental stress (smog, chlorinated water altered micro-climates, smoke, air conditioning), intense and prolonged use of digital devices.
Mode of Action:Â Sodium Hyaluronate increases the viscosity of the tear film and hydrates and lubricates the ocular surface which gives XLHA better viscoelastic, mucomimetic and moisturizing properties and provides long lasting relief.
CoQ10 levels in the retina can decline by approximately 40% with age. This decline may have two consequences: a decrease in antioxidant ability and a decrease in the rate of ATP synthesis in the retina and, as such, this decline may be linked to the progression of macular degeneration.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) present in Credohyl has bioenergetic and antioxidant properties which help support ocular surface wound healing and corneal recovery. It plays a key role in generation of ATP in the mitochondria and re-energizes the damaged cells.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E) acts as solubilizing agent for lipid soluble CoQ10.
